Join a team that is embodied by an unwavering commitment to professionalism, honesty, and innovation.Background: Our client, the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2), facilitates and acts as the principal enabler for continuous learning across all TRADOC lines of effort through acquiring, analyzing, creating, organizing, applying and transferring data, information, and knowledge in the context of current and future operations. The G-2 is responsible for delivering the Operational Environment (OE) to facilitate the training of deploying units on joint, national and interagency information, emerging asymmetric capabilities gleaned from world-wide operations; integrating processes, practices, concepts and materiel capabilities into Joint and Service DOTMLPF-P solutions; and coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic training.Summary: In support of the TRADOC G-2 mission, the Knowledge Management Tools (M365) Specialist is responsible for supporting the process of ensuring that data is visible, accessible, understandable, linked, trusted, interoperable and secure (VAULTIS) and aligned with organizational standard, in line with Knowledge Management best practices. It is an organizational imperative that we ensure that relevant knowledge is easily attainable and can be incredibly valuable for an organization, as saving time for outcome-focused tasks, while utilizing M365 apps and tools such as Copilot and SharePoint in conjunction with teamsPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining a knowledge management apps and tools framework utilizing M365 toolsOptimize knowledge sharing with Knowledge Management tools, integrate socialization & knowledge platforms & toolsOrganize & optimize data for ideal searchabilityStreamline sharing and collaborationKnowledge of M365 applications (e.g., OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online) and how they integrate to facilitate collaboration, content management, and knowledge flowKnowledge of MS Power Platform and how its capabilities enhance collaboration, content management, and shared understandingKnowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with various content creation technologies (e.g., wikis, social networking, blogs)Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standardsKnowledge of an organization's information classification program and procedures for information compromiseKnowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS)Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environment and the difference between on-premises and off-premises environmentsPreferred ExperiencePlan and manage M365 knowledge management projectsPromote knowledge sharing between content owners/users through an organization's operational processes and systemsProvide recommendations on data structures and databases that ensure correct and quality production of reports/management informationKnowledge of data classification standards and methodologies based on sensitivity and other risk factorsKnowledge of use cases related to collaboration and content synchronization across platforms (e.g., Mobile, PC, Cloud)Knowledge of taxonomy and semantic ontology theoryBackground RequirementsMust be eligible for SECRET clearanceEducation: A bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management preferredAttended a Knowledge Manager Representative (KMR) course and/or understand the roles and responsibilities of a KMR preferredExtensive experience with technical writing and editing$0 - $0 biweeklyNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
