SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER - ARCHITECTURAL
Position Summary Okland is looking for a Senior Quality Control Manager with a strong architectural background to lead and enforce quality standards across our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural quality of our construction projects, ensuring all work meets design specifications, regulatory codes, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring an extensive understanding of architectural systems, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership abilities to foster a culture of quality excellence within our team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement QC plans specific to architectural elements, ensuring adherence to project specifications, building codes, and company standards. Conduct in-depth inspections of architectural work, including materials, finishes, and installations, to verify quality and compliance with design and regulatory requirements. Maintain and manage QC records, including inspection reports, non-conformance logs, corrective action plans, and quality documentation, ensuring clear communication and traceability. Identify quality-related issues in architectural work early in the process, recommend corrective actions, and proactively mitigate risks. Work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure the translation of architectural intent into high-quality project execution, addressing any design-related QC concerns. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, building codes, and best practices to ensure all architectural work aligns with the latest requirements and practices. Mentor and train project teams, subcontractors, and junior QC staff on architectural QC standards, promoting quality awareness and best practices. Lead efforts to improve architectural QC processes and methodologies, gathering feedback to refine quality standards and enhance project outcomes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in QC or quality assurance, with at least 5 years focused on architectural aspects of construction projects. In-depth knowledge of architectural systems, materials, and finishes; proficiency in QC software, MS Office, and familiarity with project management software. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate QC standards effectively to diverse teams. Proven track record of identifying and resolving architectural QC issues and driving quality improvements. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, balancing architectural quality with project timelines.
