Responsibilities:Participate in/drive the conception, design, development, testing, and delivery of the Device Pilot platform effort, as well as sustaining engineering efforts to replace ELSO SW/FW in our W2 and MB2 radiometric productsLead future software projects and software aspects of system level projectsUnderstand and follow Revvity's Global Development process, ECO release and documentation process, as well as manage releases of and changes to software in productionSupport other departments as required including technical support, manufacturing, and field serviceBasic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software, or Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of software development experience with scientific instrumentation.Preferred Requirements:
Masters and/or PhD DegreeFamiliarity and experience with the following contemporary software development processes including phased gate, Agile, and test driven methodologiesSystems level development, hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting using a variety of technologies ranging from DOS based, Active X/MFC, to current Python scripting and .NET technologies in C, C++, VB, and C#Real-time and embedded programmingTeam player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a cross-cultural and cross-functional global product development environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with scintillation counters a plusWhat do we offer?
