C3BM Principle Systems Engineer
Contingent upon prime contractor approval.
Purpose:Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a
C3BM Principle Systems Engineer
in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will get to engage in Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts to include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.
Job Description:
Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements.Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.
.Qualifications
Must have Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of systems engineering related experience.Must have knowledge of LRDR and TPY-2 (FBM) interoperability requiredMust have proficienct in system engineering and execution processesMust be able to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operationsMust have understanding of the requirements review and design review process.Must have understanding of how requirements are flowed down from system specifications to elements specification.Must be able to work independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems.Must have the capability to develop and clearly present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel.Must be proficient in Microsoft tools , e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word.Must be a pro-active, self-starter.
Desired Qualifications
Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment, preferred.Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment, preferred.Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts, preferred.Strong communication skills to include oral, written and briefing, preferred.Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferred.Ability to present complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels, preferred.

Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 10%If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an office environmentRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, communicating with others to exchange information, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
