Role DescriptionThe Vaccines Senior Marketing Manager/Associate Director is responsible for leading all marketing efforts and planning, as well as P&L responsibility for U.S. Petcare vaccines portfolio, which represent ~35% of overall revenue Core Portfolio Revenue. This Senior Marketing Manager/Associate Director will also have responsibility on market development for pipeline products.As a leader in the Petcare organization, they will model Zoetis core beliefs and communicate the importance of conducting business in a manner consistent with Zoetis values and behaviors for their team and extended team members.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading the BusinessDevelop and deliver the 1 and 3-year strategy and financial operating plan for Vaccines.Lead ongoing financial planning and product forecasting for the respective portfolio.Manage vaccines P&L by ensuring revenue, profit margins and expenses are in line with division and company expectations.Prepare and present vaccines portfolio reviews and business updates to Senior ManagementCollaborate with GCD to facilitate the development of new products and line extensions for the vaccine's portfolio.Collaborate with Sales and Veterinary Professional Services Management to ensure complete alignment of business strategy and execution at customer level.Track product line business performance identifying synergies between products that can be leveraged to slow erosion, remediating performance risks along the way.Evaluate new distribution strategies including both traditional and non-traditional (i.e., Private Label, Retail Pharmacy, OTC, Sales and Distribution, and Marketing Programs); building a business case to influence the expansion of distribution strategies for these Core brands.Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives directed to the veterinarian and the pet owner that support the immediate and long-term growth of the portfolio.Anticipate needs across functions, specifically Sales Team engagement, CRM and Next Gen Sales Engine digital optimization, Trade Show strategy, and Medical Education.Work efficiently with multiple internal stakeholders (Technical Services, Marketing Managers, Commercial Team, Communications, Business Analytics, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Pricing, L&D, Manufacturing, etc.) and Professional Advertising agencies .Lead development and execution of NSMs, CITs, and POAs.Lead and manage all communications with customers, working specifically with Sales, Corporate Accounts, Retail, Professional Services Veterinarian, Distribution, and Senior Management.Rigorously monitor and gather key customer insights, competitive activities, and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies.Develop and manage business-critical analyses and dashboards used to support forecasting processes and marketing activities for the portfolio. Manages the analysis of sales and customer data to identify actionable insights, trends, and recommended actions for the Vaccines portfolio.Key Skills and CompetenciesExcellent strategic abilities combined with experience developing and operationalizing brand strategies and tactics.Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumenExceptional written and verbal communication skillsBroad knowledge on segmentation and forecastingProven experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering with key stakeholders to develop and implement plans.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build a strong culture within a collaborative environment.Ability to apply innovative solutions to meet marketing objectives and business strategies.Experience in prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Clear understanding of product development, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory processesBroad knowledge of professional and retail channelsRequirementsEducation: BS or BA required. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.Professional: 7 to 10 years of relevant marketing experience, pharmaceutical/Animal health industry experience preferred.Classically trained marketer with experience building brands through many phases in lifecycle; from launch to defending against competition.Full time Regular Colleague
