We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst in the Finance Operations team. In this role, you will be working within cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and presenting findings. As a Business Analyst, you will work within the Finance Operations organization to identify issues with customer billing, and various other data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Collecting data from various sources such as Netsuite, Salesforce, and other financial systems.•Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines.•Designing databases and data systems.•Assist with any billing system migration activities.•Maintaining databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance•Analyzing collected data and putting it into a format that others can easily interpret.•Interpreting data trends and patterns as they relate to billing and forecasting.•Preparing reports for organizational leadership to use in a business setting.•Create data visualization and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations.•Collaborating with other employees, including engineers and programmers, to determine areas of improvement in relation to data.•Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.•Required Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related areas of study, including: Business (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Org Behavior, Operations & Supply Chain), Economics, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Liberal Arts (e.g., Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations).•Strong problem solver able to effectively operate in high pressure and dynamic situations.•Demonstrated (through professional or academic experiences) ability to:o Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and use analytical tools, including Excel. Ability to use PowerBI (or similar tools like Tableau) a plus.o Synthesize information and distill key takeaways.o Work at a fast pace and in a rapidly changing environment.o Execute projects.o Work collaboratively and independently.•Highly flexible; able to respond to a dynamic and challenging environment.•Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.•Strong customer / client focus and an orientation towards results.•Self-starter with good time management to meet deadlines.•Strong experience in MS Excel (e.g., vlookups, countifs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
