Jockey is seeking a visionary Marketing Creative Director with deep apparel industry experience to join our dynamic Marketing team and elevate our brand’s creative vision and execution.
JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Creative Director will lead the creative strategy and execution for all marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and implementing innovative, compelling, and cohesive visual communications and content campaigns that align with Jockey’s brand values and drive consumer engagement.
This position can be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area), or at our office in Nashville, TN.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and oversee the creative vision for Jockey’s marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business goals.
Lead a team of talented designers and content creators, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Collaborate with the campaign and content teams to conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand management, product marketing, integrated media, shopper marketing, social media, merchandising, and direct to consumer to ensure cohesive brand messaging and product positioning.
Manage the creative process from concept to completion, including brainstorming, storyboarding, design, and final production.
Lead pre-production, production, and post-production of all Jockey photo and video shoots for the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials, employment branding, and corporate communications to ensure a unified and recognizable brand identity.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new ideas and techniques into Jockey's creative strategy.
Oversee the budget and timeline for creative projects, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation.
Collaborate with brand management, agencies, and analytics to build and execute testing plans.
Partner with Marketing Operations to implement and optimize creative workflow and digital asset management solutions.
Utilize the analysis of campaign performance insights to inform future creative decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience as a Creative Director or in a similar senior level creative leadership role within the apparel or fashion industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including digital, print, and multimedia campaigns.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant applications.
Passion for learning, testing, and utilizing Generative AI for content development.
Strong understanding of brand development and marketing principles.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Critical/Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform creative decisions.
Excellent judgement.
Professional demeanor with the ability to regularly interact with members of the Executive team and the Board of Directors.
Ability to travel up to 15% domestically.
