The successful candidate will be an integral part of the TELUS Health employer team, participating in and driving activities that lead to growth across our Employer Health business. This role also works closely with leaders and teams across Account Management, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Finance and others to ensure that campaigns are successfully executed in line with our strategy.What You'll Do
Sell direct to employers through broker/consultant relationships and cold outreachDevelop new broker and channel partner relationshipsDevelop and manage a strong pipeline to ensure quota target coverageFundamental understanding of traditional RFP processesMeet quarterly and annual financial targetsSell well-being solutions through both direct and broker/consultant channelsEnthusiastically represent TELUS Health in business presentations, relationships, community efforts and general networking activitiesNurture existing partners to develop long-term channel relationshipsCommunicate professionally, crisply and confidently. Must be able to passionately articulate the TELUS Health business proposition and ROI modelMaintain responsibility for full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and close of sale, with a heavy focus on prospectingWhat You Bring
Degree in Business, Marketing or other customer focus academic curriculum5+ years record of accomplishment of selling business value-driven software solutions and consistently meeting and exceeding annual quotas of $750,000+Demonstrated sales success experience within employee benefits, human capital management (HCM), or a closely related industryUnderstanding of EAP, the Insurance industry, and group benefitsA highly energetic, trusted, and influential relationship builder that has strong attention to detailStrong business acumen and expert negotiation skillsStrong outreach/cold calling skillsStrong interpersonal skills, and solid written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills, professional maturity, and the ability to think and act strategicallyExceptional drive, energy and communication/presentation skillsDemonstrates a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit, and problem solvers mindsetAbility to evangelize to and advocate on behalf of channel partners/ brokersExperience working with Salesforce or comparable CRMEstimated 30% travel
