The TELUS Health ServiceNow Solution Architect is a technical leader whose diverse expertise services several functions within a new, enterprise-wide implementation of ServiceNow that features an expanding set of capabilities. In this role, the Solution Architect documents the overall platform design and helps to analyze the impact of new requirements.What you’ll do
S/he ensures platform alignment with the business strategy, provides consultative technical leadership to the platform team, and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture.Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions and resolves technical escalations.Leveraging a team to assist, this role will administer to most of the ServiceNow platform components including Incident, Request, Change, CMDB and Discovery.This role will be key in defining scope and objectives, designing and implementing structure and processes, managing platform operations and updates while supporting the user base.Evaluate platform performance and maturity for opportunities to drive continuous improvement.Participates in process workshops, works closely with the enterprise architecture team and designated 3rd party partners.What you bring
Minimum of eight (8)+ years of directly related work experience in IT Application or System administration - mandatory.Minimum of 5+ years of significant ServiceNow and consulting experience - mandatory.Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory.Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management - mandatory.Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery – mandatory.Minimum of two (2) years of Lead/Supervisory experience - asset.Certified Application Developer - asset.Certified Implementation Specialist - Service Mapping - asset.CIS - Event Management - asset.CIS - Service Provider - asset.CIS - Hardware Asset Management - asset.IT Micro Certifications in CMDB Config, CMDB Health and Performance Analytics - asset.Dev Micro Certifications in CSM, Srv Portal, Agile & Test Mngt, ATF, Flow Designer and Integration Hub - asset.A bit about us
