The Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage hardware and software development projects, including supporting government programs with the U.S. DARPA agency. The role will involve coordinating with hardware development teams, managing program schedules, and providing documentation and specifications for testing and measurement systems related to quantum devices. You'll ensure smooth operations in a highly technical environment and drive the successful delivery of projects within defined timelines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop, track, and manage project budgets, timelines, and scopeManage program schedules and documentation, including requirement specs, architecture specs, and test plansSupport test and measurement of quantum device systems, ensuring upgrades and bug triage are handled efficientlyLead internal meetings with hardware development teams and other stakeholdersImplement process improvements and provide project management support for hardware and test measurement equipmentPartner closely with functional project teams to define requirements and engineering development plansEnsure that project management processes are being followed throughout all phases of project developmentQualifications/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering)2-4 years' experience as a project manager or R&D engineering managerProven project management experience in hardware development or related fieldsFamiliarity with ADO and experience using standard tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and ProjectStrong communication and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentProven ability to assess risks and apply project management principles to deliver technology solutionsWhy Work with Team Red Dog?
