Role: NETOPS System Administrator.Location:

Fort Meade, MD.Join our team as a NETOPS System Administrator at the Joint Cyber Training Enterprise (JCTE) in Fort Meade, MD.Are you ready to take your expertise in IT and cybersecurity to the next level? We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to contribute to our mission of enhancing network/system stability and analytics, while advancing NETOPS maturity.

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse, skilled team, providing network & resource monitoring expertise for training operations across USCC and various service components and agencies. Your ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and respond to ad-hoc technical requirements will be crucial.

Responsibilities:Monitor system performance, utilize platform tools, and communicate effectively with reporting agencies.Oversee system virtualized resources, identify best practices, and support large-scale cyber exercises.Contribute to cyber training and help establish an internal NETOPS capability at JCTE.Required Skills:

Day-to-day network performance monitoring.Strong understanding of analytics tools, such as Metabase and Grafana.Collect metrics and trending data, develop data standards, policies, and procedures.Analyze data sources, assess validity, and provide actionable recommendations.Familiarity with VMware, Net App, and RedHat Linux (RHEL).Preferred Requirements:

Problem-solving skills for resolving technical issues across diverse integrated software and hardware platforms.Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.Proficiency in generating queries and reports, utilizing data analysis tools such as Excel, Metabase, and SPSS.Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.Effective communication with vendors, users, customers, and developers to comprehend needs and operational requirements changes impacting the production environment.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 5 years of relevant experience.8570 Compliant IAT Level II or greater. Security+, CISSP, or other equivalent certification required within six months of hire.U.S. Citizenship status and a TS/SCI security clearance are mandatory for eligibility.
