Your Role

The Art Director is a creative professional who excels at working both independently and in a collaborative environment. They will lead and collaborate with teams of photographers, stylists, hair, and makeup artists to create high quality visual imagery that aligns with the brands creative direction and vision. This individual will be a strong support to the Sr Manager, Art Direction in concepting, executing, designing, and editing needs for our ecommerce photography.

Your Impact

Works closely with the Associate Creative Director to maintain the creative vision for our ecommerce platformsEnsure that all visual content aligns with the brands guidelines and is consistent with the overall brand aestheticLead photo teams to create visually compelling and high-quality content for on-figure and still life product photographyManage high-volume and fast paced workflowPartner with production team to ensure productivity and accuracyPartner with post-production team in communicating retouch needsLead photo crew consisting of photographer, model, hair, makeup, and styling. Manages a team of 8-10.Partner with Associate Creative Director on photo production and talent allocationPartner with fashion office team to ensure consistent execution of brand style needsBe fluid and flexible (will need to AD on-figure set as well as oversee still sets)Manage all updates to ecomm photography guides (both on-figure and still life)Stay up to date with fashion trendsIdentify key styling, photography, and hair & makeup trends of the season and how they can translate into our brandDrives and owns assigned projects. What Experience Should You Bring To This Role

Be well versed in both on-figure and still life photographyMust have strong collaboration skills and be a team playerRemains agile and flexible to changeReliable, proactive and a fast learnerVery strong verbal and written communication and positive attitude are required.Discerning eye for composition, photo editing, croppingProficient in Capture One, InDesign and Photoshop.Graphic Design background requiredHighly organized, works quickly and excellent at multitaskingCreative thinker who understands the creative processStrong portfolio with a commitment to produce outstanding workBe knowledgeable in fashion photographyAbility to work within a collaborative team environmentAbility to listen and act on feedback from manager for all office responsibilitiesHigh taste level and aesthetic requiredREQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree4+ year experience in retail or brand in similar roleMust have proven experience in photo art-direction for 2 years or moreGraphic Design knowledge and know-howProficient in Photoshop and Capture OneProficient in InDesign and ability to create presentation documentsRelevant creative backgroundStrong retail/fashion brand or agency experience desired
