Our client is seeking a dynamic

Brand Manager - Consumer Packaged Goods.

This is a hybrid position working 3 days on-site in Carlsbad, CA and 2 days remotely per week.

Based in Carlsbad, CA, our client's rapidly growing business is in need of a full-time Brand Manager that will lead and support the development of the brand and key initiatives across priority channels to support both the short and long-term marketing strategy.

Essential Functions - Brand Manager

The Brand Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to create brand relevancy with consumers, drive profitable growth, and develop and execute activities that build and support the brand equity. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.

Job ResponsibilitiesContribute to and support the development and execution of omnichannel marketing plans to drive brand awareness with clear measures for success that contribute to company objectives.Help lead and execute day-to-day project management of agency partners, including paid media, shopper marketing, media partners, website, and creative brand assets.Lead digital planning and activations including digital media, search, website, CRM, and e-commerce. Develop and execute plans that align with the brand's strategic priorities and touch points.Manage brand marketing calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.Develop and execute marketing communication plans via advertising and consumer promotions, including e-comm channels, retailer-specific tactics, media recommendations, and consumer activations.Collaborate with Sales to ensure full integration of brand strategies through the line, translate brand plans into market plans, and ensure consistency through to the point of sale with all deliverables on time and within budget.Embrace and champion a digital- and social-first philosophy to consumer and trade communication with a strong understanding of the overall consumer journey and online ecosystem, from awareness generation to engagement to e-commerce to loyalty.Responsible for managing current product portfolio and relevant assets, including packaging updates.Define and monitor key metrics to assess initiatives and drive brand success, including the preparation and sharing of monthly status reports and other reporting as needed.Benefits

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in brand management at consumer goods companies in positions of increasing responsibility. Food and beverage experience along with a passion for healthy and mission driven brands is a plus.Demonstrated success contributing to strategic marketing plans and creative marketing campaigns.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adaptable with an entrepreneurial attitude.Ability to prioritize and effectively measure and drive for results with strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills with added attention to details and deadlines.Excellent collaborative and negotiation skills with ability to build productive business relationships cross functionally within the organization and outside of the organization with agency partners.Assertive self-starter with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Microsoft Office skills: experienced and proficient at a high level in Excel and PowerPoint.Bachelor's Degree required; Business and/or Marketing preferred.MBA with a marketing concentration is a plus.

Salary Description

$100,000 - $130,000 Depending on experience
