Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to develop and implement marketing activities that increase brand value, awareness and market share in the Consumer Packaged Goods space. As a Brand Manager you will work closely with different teams to create and execute marketing initiatives that resonate with the target market and increase sales. You will also be tasked with developing budgets, forecasting sales figures and assessing KPIs and ROI.
To be successful as a Brand Manager, you should have a good understanding of consumer behavior, be up-to-date on market trends and continuously monitor competitor activity. You will also be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, developing go-to-market strategies and reporting on brand performance. The ideal candidate will have a manager mentality, with a disruptive growth mindset, agile decision-making abilities, strong influence and leadership skills.
Qualification:Bachelors degree - Marketing, or Business with a concentration in Marketing5+ years of relevant experience - agency setting as a brand managerExperience with start-ups and mass-market brands in the CPG spaceRequired Skills:
Expert knowledge about marketing and related subjects - advertising, market research, consumer behavior, marketing analyticsProven track record of performance in an organization that is regarded for superior products/servicesStrong culture and team development, including leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Strong collaboration and influencing skills across internal/external functionsExcellent organizational, ability to prioritize, excellent project management skills, solid financial acumenSolid understanding of Search Engine Marketing, SEO, and Digital MarketingSolid understanding of Amazon E-commerce platform and algorithmsUnderstanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, MS Office, Amazon Seller Central, Gantt Charts, Project Management SoftwareKnowledge of FDA Compliance in packaging is a plusResponsibilities:
Strategic plan developmentManage and develop P&L and driving market growthMaintain a company's public image through implementation of marketing initiativesCommunicate with internal stakeholders such as C-level executives and marketing personnelOwn the ideation to launch phases of new products, around both near-term priorities and long-term strategiesStrong focus on profitability and brand growthSelf-starter who brings ideas and innovation to the table - think "outside the box!"
