Overview

Patelco Credit Union, with assets now totaling more than $9.5 billion and 500,000 members nationwide, we are looking to fill the position of Applications Support Engineer. The Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users of our company's software applications. This role involves troubleshooting issues, identifying, fixing the issue and resolving problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the applications.

Responsibilities

Identify and diagnose technical issues related to the application, Research and implement solutions to resolve problems efficiently.Review the application code, configuration and data to identify the problem that member or team members are facing; independently perform minor application fixes and/or recommend coding solutions.Respond to user inquiries and requests for assistance, provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts, Document and track user issues to ensure timely resolution.Create and track incident reports, assign incidents to appropriate teams for resolution.Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of frequently asked questions and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure the knowledge base is up-to-date and easily accessible to users.Monitor the performance of the applications and identify potential issues. Take proactive steps to optimize application performance.Qualifications

Working knowledge of technical strategies, business process design, application development and technical architectureAbility to plan, organize, schedule, and manage work hours and small projects.Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.Possess good written and oral communication skills.Possesses ability to collaborate effectively with a wide array of people on many different levels.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 years of experience in application support or development.Strong technical skills, including knowledge in C#, .Net, MS-SQL, or Salesforce.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer service orientation.Familiarity with toolsIncident Mangement : Jira, ServiceNow, APM: Data dog, App Dynamics, New relicPhysical Activities/Requirements

This position is based out of the Dublin HQ officeRole is eligible for hybrid work arrangements.Target Base Pay

$115,764
