The Project Management Office is primarily responsible for transitioning licensed or acquired product lines from incumbent facilities and leading the integration of those lines into our own. Our team is looking for a Project Manager to lead these initiatives. You will report to the Project Management Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
To be considered for Project Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, or another related field
* 2-5+ years' experience in program/project management in an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Ideally, 3+ years' aerospace industry experience
* A PMP or similar certification desirable
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with schedule management software such as Microsoft Project
* Travel expected approximately 15-20% of the time as determined by project requirements
As a Project Manager, you will:
* Lead transition teams and manage/drive assigned project-related activities (internally and externally) toward achieving scope, schedule, quality, and financial objectives.
* Participate in pre-award evaluations of potential business development opportunities.
* Own and manage projects starting with the initial approach through project closure and hand-off to functional departments, inclusive of the following tasks: planning; scheduling; integration; tracking; coordination; communication; financial/resource control; risk management; and reporting.
* Participate in licensor relationship management during the transfer process.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives for existing departmental processes.

Salary Range:
* $85,000 - $120,000/year, based on experience
