This position is on-site at TACG 1000 Valentine industrial Parkway, Pendergrass GA 30657.Department Purpose:Human Resource (HR) department performs human resource management functions, such as finding, hiring, training, and supporting new employees. As a result, HR departments are responsible for such important tasks as reviewing resumes, keeping track of employee information, and ensuring a company complies with labor laws and employment standards.Position Purpose:Responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence.Main Responsibilities:Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Assess and propose continuous improvement strategies following a plan, do, check act (PDCA) process.Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA Complies with all company policies and proceduresQualifications - Required:Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityExperience in associate relations requiredKnowledge of employment laws and regulations is requiredExperience in New Hire onboarding, orientation, and entry requiredRecruitment/Talent Management Systems requiredProficient in written and spoken English requiredAbility to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team oriented environment requiredProficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint requiredQualifications - Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred3-5 years of Human Resource, experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredSHRM-CP, SHRM-CPS, or PHR preferredGeneral knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processing preferredEssential Functions /Abilities:Attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong analytical skillsProblem identification ad solving skillsHigh level off prioritizing and organizing skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast pace and deadline driven environmentAbility to maintain professionalism and positive service attitude at all timesAttitude of treating all associates and customers and dignity and respectAdditional Responsivities:The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feelHe employee must occasionally lift and/or more at least 10 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Supervision:This position reports to the Human Resource Manager and will have significant working relationship to Toyota Industries Corporations' Associates.Compensation and Benefits:TACG offers and excellent benefit package including health insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, 401K plan, bonus program and other optional benefits.Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia is an Equal Opportunity Employer
