General Summary:
We are looking for SW engineers to work in a team responsible for seamless enablement of Windows AI platform on Snapdragon through Snapdragon SW stack.
You will work on enabling Microsoft’s Windows AI Platform through Qualcomm’s AI platform assets on Snapdragon such that AI application developers on Windows realize seamless portability from other Windows hardware to Snapdragon, while ensuring the full performance benefits of Snapdragon AI system are realized through the full AI stack on Windows.
Responsibilities
Enablement of Windows AI platform on Snapdragon through Snapdragon SW stack
Developing/porting Windows drivers for AI/ML compute engines like NPU, GPU, CPU and dedicated HW.
Performance analysis and debugging of AI workloads for inefficiencies in the SW stack
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in kernel/driver development for multi-processor heterogeneous systems.
Expertise in Windows ML, Direct ML a plus
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch, Tensor flow, etc.
Familiarity with AI/ML Acceleration libraries
Familiarity with hardware-software co- design a plus.
Expertise in C and Embedded systems development
3+ years’ experience in embedded system for AI
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Pay range
and Other Compensation & Benefits

$133,000.00 - $200,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
