We are looking to fill this hybrid position in Wisconsin.This role is responsible for:Identifying new sales opportunities within K-12 school districts and public libraries focused on new learning environments. (i.e., furniture, supplies & equipment, learning materials)Identifying key decision makers and opportunities by leveraging industry insight tools and by cultivating relationships with school leaders (i.e., Superintendent, Principal, Business Manager, Library Director), architects, associations, and education agencies.Developing leads and opportunities that will then be transitioned to our internal sales teams to help close.
As the relationship owner, the Junior Business Development Representative would continue to provide periodic support and guidance to assist in closing these opportunities.Qualifications:Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.Established relationships within the K-12 education market, with a focus on learning environments and furniture.Ability to physically participate in tradeshows, including setup and breakdown.Capable of delivering samples and assisting with on-site installations.Willingness to travel overnight 2-3 times per year and conduct daily travel 2-4 days per week for onsite visits in the
