Regional Director of Sales

you will:Lead a team of approximately 8–10 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Learning Environment Consultants (LECs) in identifying and closing new sales opportunities within K–12 schools and public libraries — delivering against aggressive prospecting and sales goalsBe responsible for the recruitment, training, and day-to-day management of the BDRs and LECs within your respective territoryLead your BDR team’s hunting efforts in leveraging industry insight tools to create a targeted prospect list, identify and prospect learning environment opportunities, build relationships with key decision makers, and BANT qualify opportunities before handing them off to the LECs to assistGuide your BDR team’s efforts to develop strategic partnerships with K–12 focused architects, design firms, associations, and agencies to assist with their prospecting and hunting effortsLead your LEC team in driving BANT-qualified opportunities toward closed/won status and overseeing each LEC in their project management of opportunities through needs assessment, design, product ordering, installation, and post-installation follow-upSupport each LEC in coordinating their efforts with internal Demco teams within materials management, product, design, project services, and finance to assure each customer’s needs and expectations are achieved throughout the customer’s journeyBe required to travel up to 50% of the timeTo be qualified, you will have:A bachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of experience in business development and account management and 2 years of experience in leading remote team members preferably in hunting rolesExperience working in the K-12 Educational market, preferably in Learning Environments/FurniturePrior Success in a primarily hunting sales roleProven success in strategic design of integrated sales and moving strategy to implementationA deep understanding of sales strategy, behaviors, models, and measurementsStrong customer focusExperience in leading by example and promoting teamwork throughout an organizationExperience developing team members to their full potential, setting team goals, and holding teams accountable to expectationsThis permanent, full-time role offers a remote work environment coupled with a rich benefit package intended to support you both professionally and personally.
