You will work for our client, a judiciary system based in Annapolis, MD. You will:Work on a hybrid basis, three days per week in an acceptable remote location, and two days per week on site in Annapolis, MD.Gather and document the application and system requirements for several projects under development,Develop test plans, perform systems testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and provide support for problem tracking and resolution.Support the refinement of existing systems development life cycle methodologies and Project Management Office standards and practices as needed.Start work in January 2025Work on integrations projectsDocument existing systems and/or business processes.Interview users to determine functional requirements for new development and enhancement projects.Work with client personnel as needed to develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts.Work with technical leads and developers to understand, develop, and refine project technical requirements.Develop and refine systems development methodology processes and artifacts as needed.Track and report project status as required in support of project and Project Management Office efforts.Provide input to and support for the development of Project Definition documents used to establish initial project scope, cost and resource estimates, impact on existing activities, and estimated return on investment.Perform data analysis in support of projects and develop database inquiries as needed.Coordinate use of business analysis, project requirements, test planning, tracking, problem reporting throughout projects within JIS as needed.Assist JIS project managers and IT/Court managers, as needed, with the coordination of requirements gathering and test planning activities.Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and coordinate business unit review and approval of project functional requirements and test plans.Develop weekly time reports focused on total time and segments of time allocated to tasks or projects. Reporting will be via templates and/or time and activities tracking software.Act as liaison with justice partners in providing accurate data exchanges and changes to data exchanges required by legislation or business mandates.Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities:Must have access to a remote work site that is deemed acceptable by DTS (not a public work space)Able to wait until January 2025 to start workAble to work on site at the client's Annapolis, MD office two days per weekActive, current PMPMaster's Degree in Information SystemsOdyssey Case Management System.UML and other tools used to capture and document user and functional requirements.NIEM / JIEM data modeling.Eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, and managing requirementsDeveloping process flow diagrams and analyzing processesRequirements capture and tracking software.XML and SOAP protocol software.Discussing, analyzing and documenting high-level business requirements related to internal and external clients.Integration patterns, web services and APIs.Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, end users and vendor development staff, as well as all levels of management and judicial personnel as necessary.Ability to work effectively within a diverse IT organization.Providing training and demonstrations pertaining to integrations software.Knowledge of Systems development life cycle principles and methodologiesLogical and relational data modelingFacilitating JAD sessionsDesired Skills and Experience:Experience with court, judicial, or legal projects or systemsTen years of experience in Information TechnologyUS Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
