Qualifications
OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE The Senior Program Manager oversees the provision of services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) and the Family Service Program. The Senior Program Manager will provide administrative and clinical supervision to staff while ensuring procedural compliance and best practice is occurring within the programs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES \ PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND SUPERVISION The Senior Program Manager provides administrative and clinical supervision to the Coordinators. The Senior Program Manager monitors the quality of services provided, acts as Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP), monitors treatment plans, writes funding proposals, oversees contracted supports, and implements trainings for staff. The Senior Program Manager will ensure that proper procedures and policies are being followed and will complete annual performance reviews for supervisees. The Senior Program Manager will also participate as a member of the DS Emergency On-Call System.\ QUALITY ASSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE The Senior Program Manager will ensure that programs and documentation meet regulatory compliance and serves as QDDP for individuals in the SILP and Family Services programs. The Senior Program Manager will also oversee all aspects of the programs to ensure compliance is occurring. The Senior Program Manager will follow housing regulations for SILP program and assist clients to locate affordable housing and other services.
NETWORKING AND CONSULTATION / EDUCATION Serves on agency committees, as assigned or appropriate. Assists program coordinators in the coordination of services, as necessary. Provides assigned training as requested or appropriate. Represents the division on statewide task forces as assigned. Implements appropriate training for staff in the SILP and Family Services programs and ensures compliance with training is occurring.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, RECORD KEEPING, AND FISCAL MONITORING Completes various clinical and administrative forms for billing, management information, and clinical purposes. Prepares reports, as requested. Reviews management and outcome reports completed by managers. Reviews waiver budgets as appropriate and advises Director of necessary changes. Ensures the timely completion of documentation by staff. Acts as or assists with Representative Payee services for the SILP program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \ Bachelors degree plus relevant experience preferred. Six years experience in similar role may be substituted for Bachelors degree. Supervisory experience required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and overseeing multiple programs strongly preferred.
