During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.

As a Subcontract Lead, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Fixed-Fee, through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and lead moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

As a Subcontract Lead, you will work to reduce the cost and increase the value of using the preferred SNC supply base over time. You are the leader of a given subcontract, and you represent your internal teammates who have communicated this requirement.
