Benefits Manager , who has a passion for building better processes and solutions, and who has the knowledge to navigate the complexities of US healthcare and the breadth to manage all of Signode's North America benefits.Reporting into the Director, Total Rewards, the Benefits Manager will be responsible for:Drive benefits program strategies and initiatives. Develop/maintain a benefits program portfolio that supports the company's Total Rewards strategy for innovative health, well-being, leave of absence, and retirement plans.Oversee the proper administration and implementation of the company's health and retirement benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, etc.) in accordance with policies and procedures while ensuring legal compliance with government regulations (COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, ACA, Section 125, Form 5500 filings, etc.)Manage benefits vendors and service providers to accomplish strategic objectives and tactical goals while maintaining costs in alignment with financial goals and competitive positioning.Collaborate with benefits vendors to solve employee benefits issues; support the development of a long-term vendor roadmap, identify best-in-class vendor partners and manage implementation and change processes for new vendorsDirect and manage benefits processes and events (enrollments, benefits administration, leave management, retirement, and related communications); identify & and implement innovative solutions that support continuous improvement.Manage global benefit programs, including mental health and family forming benefits, and support the evolution of our perk and wellness effortsOptimize technology to lead benefits processes and communications with participants and spouses; provide clear information that conveys value to the associate (i.e., Total Rewards)Developing, implementing, and maintaining a benefits communication and education program and plan to enhance employee understanding of benefit programsResponsible for market analysis to continuously assess competitive factors and cost savings/impacts.Leads the preparation of benefit plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and required postings.Support the planning, administration and communication of annual open enrollment, and other benefits changes throughout the yearQualifications:7 - 10 years direct experience in Benefits Management involved with the procurement, management, and communications of benefits programs (health and welfare, 401k) and

either a current CBP or CEBS certification

Demonstrated knowledge of the regulations that impact US benefits, and experience of their hands-on application (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125, ACA, etc).Experience managing vendors, projects and programs.Experience in DayForce/Ceridian (preferred), or other benefits administration systems.

Demonstrated skill to create reports on and audit complex data from multiple sources in Excel, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and identify the root cause of issues.Expert and comprehensive knowledge of benefits program concepts, principles and technologies, and related laws and regulations.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams, internal and external, and customer service and engagement content creation skills to support Signode's employees.Proactive and innovative thought leader.Excellent time management, presentation, planning skillsResults orientedVendor Management including managing Requests for Proposal (RFP) and vendor selection process.Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Reasonable Accommodation StatementTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
