Buckeye, AZ - Onsite RoleJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced IT technical administrator who will perform infrastructure hardware and software build-out activities for a new supply chain facility and other expansion projects. During build-out, you will administer, monitor, and support supply chain facility hardware platforms, operating systems, and related products and technologies. As an essential team member, you will ensure high standards for system implementation, establishing documentation, standards, best practices, procedures, processes, and guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide desktop support by configuring and supporting PCs, printers, RFs, and miscellaneous hardware onsite.Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.Ticket queue management.Resolve issues across our IT work streams, including network infrastructure, workstations, and end-user devices.Provide Level 2 technical support to end users and the IT Team.Requirements and Qualifications:Desktop support experience supporting client devices, printers, and other end-user hardwareExperience with networking topologies and wireless computing infrastructureWorking knowledge of maintaining network systems and services, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VoIP, and other IP devicesStrong experience with UNIX and Windows operating systemsWorking experience with Internet and Intranet technologiesRobust analytical, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting skillsUndergraduate degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with backup technologies, high-end storage solutions (Hitachi SAN preferable), SCCM System Management, and Event Management tools or related technologiesExperience with operating system installation, maintenance, security, performance monitoring, performance tuning, and integrity.Understanding of Data Center design, optimization, and environmental support componentsExperience with IT processes such as System Management, Patch Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, Problem Management, Business Continuity Planning, Customer Service and Vendor Relationship Management.Experience defining and delivering effective methodologies and processes to enable a proactive work environment and deliver structured work that is repeatable for all Tier 1 support individuals and organizations.Desired Skills and ExperienceDesktop support, Level 2 support, PC, printers, hardware, inventory, ticketing, workstations, networking, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VoIP, wireless, UNIX, Windows, Internet, Intranet, storage, SAN, Hitachi SAN, SCCM, System Management, Patch Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, Problem Management, Business Continuity Planning, Customer Service, Vendor Relationship ManagementBayside Solutions, Inc. may collect your personal information during the position application process.
