Job Title:

Litigation Legal SecretaryOur client is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary. The ideal candidate will assist lawyers and legal personnel with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office procedures and an efficient workflow.Key Responsibilities:Type, format, edit, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, and memoranda in accordance with the Firm's standards.E-filing in State and Federal CourtsManage multiple lawyer assignments and organize clerical functions to meet administrative and client needs.Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is processed accurately and promptly.Enter, proofread, and post lawyers' time entries, ensuring compliance with client billing requirements.Coordinate travel arrangements for lawyers and clients, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation.Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.Screen and direct telephone calls, messages, and conference calls for lawyers and staff.Manage incoming and outgoing mail, distributing it promptly.Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments for lawyers and clients, both in-person and remotely.Maintain and organize calendars, contacts, and client information using Firm software.Collaborate with various departments to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks effectively.Assist with client billing processes as directed.Ensure a clean and organized work area, demonstrating safe work practices.Maintain the accuracy of electronic and hardcopy client files in accordance with the Firm's standards.Participate in all required training and team meetings.Qualifications:Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.Proficiency in legal document formatting and familiarity with legal terminology.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in standard office software and legal-specific tools.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.Salary up to $120,000 with a hybrid schedule
