Artportunity Knocks mission is to empower youth to make Positive and Smart choices while increasing opportunities in the Arts, Education, Community Service and Bridging Cultures. We offer after-school programs, classes, camps, workshops and community engagement opportunities for students.

Artportunity Knocks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth to make smart and positive choices while increasing opportunities in the Arts, Education, Community Service, and Bridging Cultures. We are seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, fundraising, special events, and donor management.

We are looking for a passionate, POSITIVE person with an entrepreneurial spirit to spearhead our Development.

Key Services

Grant Writing & Management:

Research and identify potential funding sources.Prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals.Maintain grant calendar to ensure timely submission of applications and reports.Fundraising:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events.Special Events:

Plan and execute special events to support fundraising efforts.Collaborate with team members and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.Donor Management:

Maintain donor database, ensuring accurate records and timely acknowledgements.Develop and implement donor recognition programs.Engage with donors to foster long-term relationships.Team Collaboration:

Work independently and as part of a team to achieve development goals.Attend weekly in-person meetings on Wednesdays from 10am to 1pm.Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, special events, and donor management.Familiarity with the Metro Atlanta philanthropic landscape.Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Proficient in analyzing data to inform strategy and decision-making.Proficiency in using fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail in writing, editing, and managing documentation.Important information about this position:

Salary $1000 to $1300 (Semi Monthy) based upon experience.This is a hybrid position. You will work both remotely and on-site.
