This role will be on-site in Chicago, Illinois or Milwaukee, Minnesota. __
Quickly become familiar with Renesas product portfolio with a focus on analog and power products
Interface professionally with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges
Identify and pursue new design activity at key customers
Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, distribution partners and product engineers to define the best solutions for customers, including block diagrams, schematics, simulations, etc.
Establish and grow relationships across a wide range of customers
Demonstrate products (GUI, demonstration and evaluation boards for example)
Provide technical expertise and support to develop Renesas revenues in cooperation with the sales team
Identify new sockets for Renesas by working closely with customers at the project design stage to achieve design win targets
Understand competitors’ position within customers and develop strategies to counter their activity
Support customers through the whole design lifecycle including first consultancy, design in, prototyping and production
Qualifications:Qualifications
Masters Engineering Degree Required, electrical or computer engineering preferred (or bachelor’s degree with 3 years minimum experience)
Self-starter with strong communication skills
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Basics in system design with ability to understand and create block diagrams of customer applications.
Motivated, responsive and driven personality required with strong organizational skills
Travel required
Previous experience as an FAE a plus
Strong problem-solving capability to interface customer needs and resources with energetic and creative approaches
Capable of identifying key projects and recommending possible solutions
