This VP of Marketing, located in Northcentral Indiana will focus efforts in support of our organic growth agenda and build a world class strategic marketing team. This leader will identify new market expansion opportunities, develop product concepts in concert with product development and launch new products that delight our customers.This is a highly visible and integral role as a pivotal cross-functional leader across our manufacturing organization. Strongly collaborating with Sales, R&D, product development and product line management to provide vision and oversight to the marketing, brand, product management, communications services, digital, eCommerce and customer service teams to establish and ensure a consistent, comprehensive global marketing strategy. This position also directs the development, implementation, and measurement of the organization's global marketing processes.The ideal candidate is dynamic, motivated, goal-oriented, creative and an analytical hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment. They are passionate about building a manufacturing brand and leading highly cross-functional group. Develops a consumer-insights and customer feedback driven multi-horizon technology roadmap that feeds into and augments the existing step-out innovation portfolio. Establishes and directs the company's brand strategy and ensuring seamless execution of daily activities. Adjusts business strategies in response to changing market dynamics and business need.Brand Planning, Positioning & Messaging:
Defines and refines brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and resonance across all marketing channels.Content Oversight:
Oversees the development and creation of all short and long-term marketing content, selling materials, competitive analysis, customer experiences and communication strategies that in turn influence and drive marketing content creation.Brand Architecture & Portfolio Strategy:
Designs and implements a coherent brand architecture and portfolio strategy that supports business objectives and enhances brand equity. This is accomplished by conducting qualitative screening and quantitative valuation to reduce the promising product concepts to a handful of key defining projects that are categorized based on risk/ reward / speed of commercialization.Leadership Representation:
Serves as SME and marketing advisor to senior and executive leadership. Understands customer journeys and has a deep understanding of our target audience's buyer journey, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies. Serve as a key spokesperson, representing the marketing team to senior leadership and the board of directors, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations.Business Insights:
Demonstrates thorough business/industry knowledge and can synthesize business information and respond to changing market dynamics effectively. Proactively monitors external factors and policies that may affect the organization. Uses knowledge to guide decision making. Investigates, evaluates, and recommends opportunities for growth in new / adjacent market segments.Digital Marketing:
Drive the successful development and implementation of digital marketing and eCommerce plans to deliver against overall growth goals and financial targets in specific areas to advance initiatives for the company's online presence, and all owned and paid email, content, and social media.Social Media & SEO:
Directs the marketing team to grow the company's social presence and following resulting in improved SEO rankings using the latest analytics tools and best practices.Competitive Analysis:
Provides keen competitor analysis and create strategies to capture market share and outperform the industry.Experiential Marketing:
Devises and implements experiential marketing initiatives, including local and national customer events that position us as an innovative leader in manufacturing.Analytics & Measurement:
Measures mission, revenue, and margin impact of marketing activity performance by leveraging data-driven insights of the competitive and digital landscape, market trends, and customer behavior to inform marketing strategies. Stays up to date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively apply those insights to enhance marketing efforts. Monitor market conditions and continuously adapt campaign strategies to drive revenue to ensure positive financial outcomes and brand advancement.Product Launches:
A solid track record of strategizing and operationalizing innovation and ideas into large scale revenue and profit generation. Directs the Marketing and Communications team to conceive and build out new product launch plans.Team Leadership:
