Job Description
Primary Function of the Position
Responsibilities include supporting Intuitive's Environmental Management System with delivery and execution of related projects including the administration and maturity of Restricted/Regulated Substance Database, Conflict Minerals Compliance, collaboration tools and development of operational reports and tools for use by the broader functional teams. This role is intended to help Intuitive demonstrate compliance to its Environmental and Social Responsibility competencies.
Role & Responsibilities
To accomplish this role, you will have the following responsibilities:Effectively manages the execution of the Regulated Materials process ensuring compliance to identified regulations/directivesEnsure products and parts are scoped appropriatelyEnsure suppliers are engaged and respond in a timely and accurate mannerPartner cross functionally within the organization to drive conformance and complianceEnsure the right support is given from/to other departments to accomplish the goalsEnsuring process compliance to applicable regulations, directives, and standards (e.g. Conflict Minerals, REACH, RoHS, MDR, etc...)Drive maturity of Regulated Materials ProcessContinuously monitor compliance to applicable regulations/directivesIn partnership with cross functional teams, define strategies to mitigate compliance issues.Support business functions in creating a defensible, documented compliance packageAdditional tasks may be assigned as neededQualifications
Experience
Minimum 5 years relevant experienceData management, database creation, or data and information modelingDeep understanding of product compliance regulations in regulated industry requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities and priorities concurrentlyFamiliarity with key business applications such as SAP and Agile PLMExceptional knowledge of global Environmental Compliance Directives, Regulations and Standards including but not limited to: EU RoHS, Packaging, Battery, WEEE, REACH, Prop 65 and Conflict Minerals.Experience analyzing compliance data to verify accuracyProduct, supply chain, and design control in a medical device manufacturer (such as BOM, COTS, Custom, ASL, AML, etc...)Translating regulatory documents to extrapolate business requirements and or product requirementsSkills
