In this role, you will lead strategic and business objectives, focusing on occupancy, profitability, staffing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with Regional and Community leadership to drive resident and employee satisfaction while ensuring high-quality care.
Salary: $150,000-$185,000

Bachelor's degree required, MBA, or Master's degree preferredRCFE certification5+ years of Assisted Living and Memory Care operations management experience with budgetary responsibilitiesPrior experience managing multiple locations simultaneously strongly preferredKnowledge of and ability to conform to applicable laws, rules and industry regulationsStrong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse groupProven experience in formulating policies, developing and implementing new strategies and proceduresAbility to travel extensively within the assigned area and manage a 24/7 operational scheduleProficiency in various computer programs and applicationsBENEFITS OVERVIEW

PURPOSE
The Area Director of Operations is responsible for the execution of key business and strategic objectives for Belmont Village Communities in an assigned area. Key objectives include occupancy growth, profitability, staffing, regulatory compliance and achievement of operational standards and customer satisfaction.
The designated area will include a portfolio of communities based on geography, operating status (stabilized vs. lease-up), ownership or any other factor deemed appropriate. The size and make-up of the assigned area may change from time to time based on the needs of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage communities according to state regulations, company policy and operational standardsOversee financial objectives for assigned communities including but not limited to occupancy and rate growth, labor expenses, and capital expenditures budgetWork collaboratively with the SVP of Regulatory Affairs and Quality to respond to any licensing visits and ensure an appropriate and timely corrective action plan is identified as neededDrive achievement targets for resident, family and employee engagement, satisfaction and loyaltyWork collaboratively with Regional Team members to achieve positive outcomes within the assigned areaParticipate in the interview, selection, training, management and mentorship of community leadershipPrepare regular operations reports for SVP of Regional OperationsOn-site community support during leadership transitions and challengesMaintain and support a culture of hospitality and exceptional customer service
