Shift Details: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Job Purpose:
The Fulfillment Floor Lead is responsible for ensuring quality and efficient service to customers by leading and supporting the fulfillment team. This includes directing, motivating, recognizing, coaching, training, and solving problems to optimize performance. The role also involves assisting the Leadership Team with staffing, training, and reward/recognition program development and implementation. The Fulfillment Lead ensures all operational deadlines are met and that all orders are packaged securely for safe delivery.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide daily direction and communication to team members, assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines for shipping, packaging, and delivery are met. Maintain an organized workflow for the team. Set up jobs for team members and other leaders, ensuring upcoming tasks are logged and queued properly for efficient operations. Support the scheduling and prioritization of jobs. Continuously evaluate processes and suggest methods to improve team efficiency, productivity, and service quality for both internal and external customers. Focus on project completion, defining end goals, and executing solutions. Ensure that team members receive proper training and resources to perform their tasks effectively. Assist in developing and implementing training programs to support ongoing team development. Address team member concerns and foster a positive, motivated work environment. Assist with the development and implementation of reward and recognition programs to maintain team morale. Work closely with leaders on setting up kits, organizing kit areas, and participating in special projects aimed at improving overall area/process performance. Collaborate with the Leadership Team on staffing, training, scheduling, and handling special projects. Ensure standard work processes align with company policies and strategic objectives. Ensure the fulfillment department and warehouse are maintained in a clean, organized state, supporting maximum efficiency in daily operations. Enforce company policies related to attendance, cell phone use, and other relevant procedures. Use sound judgment in escalating any department or team concerns to higher management. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Area Leader to support overall fulfillment operations. Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of experience in fulfillment or warehousing, with a strong preference for candidates with previous leadership experience. Demonstrated customer service excellence with a proactive, "can do" attitude. Self-motivated individual who can operate effectively with minimal supervision. Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading and inspiring a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and browser-based systems is essential. Physical capability to regularly lift and carry loads of up to 25 lbs, maintaining a hands-on approach to team leadership and support.
