We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Gift Processing Specialist to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working with DonorPerfect or similar donor management software. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of all gifts and donations, maintaining donor records, and supporting the overall fundraising efforts of the organization.

Gift Processing:
Accurately process and record all incoming gifts, pledges, and payments into DonorPerfect.Generate and issue acknowledgments and receipts for all donations.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Database Management:
Maintain and update donor records in DonorPerfect.Conduct regular data clean-up and validation to ensure accuracy.Assist in generating reports and queries for fundraising analysis and campaigns.
Donor Relations:
Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.Assist in donor stewardship activities, including thank-you calls and letters.Support the development team in organizing and executing donor recognition events.
Administrative Support:
Assist in preparing and mailing fundraising materials and correspondence.Support the coordination and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief Development Officer
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.3-4 years of experience in gift processing and donor database management.Proficiency in using DonorPerfect or similar donor management software is required.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Computer proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) fundraising software and data entry applications.High level of integrity and commitment to the mission of the organization.Team player with a positive attitude.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 25 poundsRequires frequent viewing of computer screen, continual eye coordination and hand/wrist movement and finger manipulationThe Kennedy Collective invests in the success of all new employees by providing an immersive new hire orientation and training experience.
