Essential Functions:
The Real Estate Legal Assistant supports attorneys in the Real Estate Practice Group by typing, drafting, revising, and formatting documents relating to the purchase, sale, financing and leasing of commercial and residential properties; managing calendars and assisting in meeting deadlines; communicating with clients and attorneys; opening new files, preparing conflicts checks and drafting engagement letters; processing monthly billing and time entry. Landlord tenant experience a plus.
Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' legal assistant experience requiredSelf-starter; able to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to multi-task with flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced work environmentStrong client-first work ethic.Attention to detail.Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
