We are a seeking an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate Revenue Cycle Management Director to join our Finance Team.

The RCM Department is responsible for accurately, effectively and optimally process billing claims to ensure reimbursement for work completed in addition to consulting and negotiating with Payors to ensure best value for the organization.

Responsibilities

Define strategic objectives, work closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to evaluate and analyze existing systems and processes, then implement improvements that support revenue cycle goals.Develop best practice methodology for system and process optimization.Evaluate and recommend optimal revenue cycle organizational structure.Establish and implement standard metrics to monitor revenue cycle.Working in collaboration with Practice leaders, lead remediation activities as needed.Work closely with IT to develop analytics dashboard and integrate multiple systems to produce real-time data for operational, managerial, and executive leadership including revenue, projected revenue, projected cash collection, productivity, denial metrics, etc.Prepare staffing and operations budget projections annually. Ensure department operations expenses are maintained within budgeted projections.Provide reporting and feedback to various hospital departments for correct coding and billing of patient accountsWorks proactively and closely with the compliance team on regulatory mattersEnsures consistent and actionable communication with key providers.Responsible for all revenue cycle functions including system billing, reporting and support.Establishes and ensures implementation of all revenue cycle policies and procedures.Manages outside audit, reporting, and special program requirements.Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. Advises management of actions and potential risks.Arranges for billing/coding audits as required and appropriate with contracted compliance company.Develop strong relationships with payers and health plans to ensure streamlined problem resolution and maximized opportunities.Continually ensure high ethical standards, an orientation towards transparency, and a commitment to client service excellence.This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the billing teams and indirectly responsible for all employees within the department.Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelors Degree in Finance or related fieldMedical Billing and Coding LicenseExperience with Billing and Collections in a health care related fieldMinimum of 3 years of related Senior Level Revenue Cycle Management experiencePreferred:

Experience: Revenue Cycle Management: 10 yearsNextgen
