Macmillan Audio seeks a Digital Accounts Manager to manage our relationship with digital audiobook retailers and library accounts and maximize sales growth. The role responsibilities include title presentations, coordinating promotions with authors and narrators, strategizing downprice initiatives, and building connections to boost our sales. The ideal candidate will have experience working in publishing, a passion for books and audiobooks, and the ability to both think big picture and execute detail oriented promotions.What you'll do:Act as the main point of contact for our digital audiobook accountsMaximize sales growth by strategizing and partnering with accounts.Develop account strategies and sales reportingCreate and present compelling seasonal title presentationsRegularly highlight our titles in creative and persuasive ways for our accountsCoordinate author and narrator promotionsBuild relationships with libraries and librarians through conferences, accounts, and email marketingStrategize and execute downpricing campaigns across titles and accountsAnalyze, review, and report on sales performance, using metrics to inform future strategy decisions and opportunities for growthCommunicate all pertinent account-specific information to all stakeholders
What you'll bring:Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrategic eye for priorities and opportunitiesStrong persuasive skillsHighly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.Passion for books and audiobooksCollaboration across many different departments and interestsStrong analytical skills including the ability to run reports, analyze data, and communicate key findings/opportunities.
Ideal Experience:5-7 years working in publishingCollege degree or equivalent professional experience required
