Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Programmer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The position supports production from a technical standpoint and has an excellent understanding of the product being produced in the area. It is the first line of defense and/or consultant to Programmer regarding production related issues. The position is consulted by engineering regarding new product and process implementation. It solves difficult manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements.What You Will Be Doing
Independently develops new cells, improves flow, increases velocity, and reduces waste. Leads regularly scheduled 5S events. Collaborates with engineers. Resolves production issues and performs Root Cause Analysis. Recommends and implements process improvements for new product introductions and/or existing manufacturing processes. Works with engineering, when needed, to develop new processes. Identifies mistakes and improvements on various manufacturing documents and provides redlines to engineering. Writes and releases new work instructions and other manufacturing documentation. Revises existing work instructions and other manufacturing documentation. What We Are Looking For
U.S. associate degree, 2-year technical degree or international equivalent preferred. U.S. High School Diploma or international equivalent required. 5 + years' experience as a Programmer or similar external role required. Certificate or degree in six sigma or special process preferred. State certification technician required, or Sig Sigma Black Belt required. Advanced written/verbal communication skills to all levels of the organization including customers and/or suppliers. Advanced understanding of six sigma tools and lean principles Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Advanced computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, SAP, WISE, PLM). Basic understanding of machine automation networks This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
