Our client, a toy company, is seeking a Senior Designer to take the lead in developing innovative packaging and visual designs. The ideal candidate will oversee the creative process for print and 3D packaging, ensuring all design work aligns with the brand's standards and goals. This role requires someone with strong project management skills who can work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Designer will also mentor junior staff and play a key role in shaping the visual direction of new product lines.Type:

Hybrid, 3-4 days on siteResponsibilities:Oversee the creation of designs for trade events, retail exhibitions, public relations, and other activities as needed.Handle projects related to packaging, design, and retail displays that range from moderate to intricate in complexity.Take charge of packaging design within designated categories, ensuring adherence to all branding and creative standards to meet quality, design, and production expectations.Guarantee that packaging and graphic designs align with the brand's quality standards and branding goals.Develop and deliver presentation materials from concept to execution.Collaborate with structural engineers to create packaging designs that are both effective and cost-efficient.Direct the visual style of photo shoots and lead the design direction for new sub-brands.Gather and coordinate all required inputs from cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Product Development, Marketing, Photo Studio, and Editorial, to effectively lead and complete photo shoots on schedule.Provide mentorship to junior design team members.Coordinate and oversee all packaging project timelines with essential partners.Qualifications:3-5+ years of experience within the toy industry and experience with package design.Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.A professional design portfolio displaying your prior experience in design.Comprehensive understanding of design principles, including illustration, page layout, color theory, and typography.Skilled in designing for print and 3D packaging production, as well as leading the creative process.A strong interest in the Toy packaging sector is highly desirable.Please submit your resume & portfolio for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting .
