The HR leader for Talent Management and Recruiting is responsible for developing and executing talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role will oversee the recruiting function, ensuring effective talent acquisition processes, and implement talent development programs to support organizational growth and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR practices, talent management, and recruitment solutions to address business problems.

What You Will Do at Graco:

Talent Strategy Development:

Develop and implement talent management strategies aligned with organizational goals.Develop targeted plans to significantly strengthen the succession bench across divisions and functions. Create and manage action plans for leadership development and succession readiness.Partner with business leaders to develop functional competency models to ensure talent readiness for roles and establish the capabilities required for progression within functions.Analyze talent metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and improve talent management practices.Recruiting and Talent Acquisition:

Oversee and optimize the end-to-end global recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates best suited for the role.Promote the company's reputation as a great place to work by building a positive employer brand and enhancing candidate experience.Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices in addition to sourcing strategies to broaden the available talent pool.Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and other talent sources.Employee Engagement & Performance Management:

Own the engagement survey program deployment and continuous improvement. Drive deep and actionable insights specific to divisions/functions/sites to ensure improvement in key focus areas.Monitor and enhance employee engagement and retention initiatives.Own the performance management process in partnership with the Total Rewards team. Ensure enhanced discipline in application of the performance management process and tie to key talent retention and ongoing management of high and low performers.Compliance and Best Practices:

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations to include Affirmative Action Plans, EEOC reporting as required by specific Graco locations.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management and recruitment.Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures related to talent management and recruiting.Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead and mentor the Talent Management and Recruiting team.Collaborate with other HR functions and departments to support organizational objectives.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on talent-related matters.Team Leadership and Budget Management

Lead, mentor, manage, and staff a Talent Management and Recruiting team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.Drive strong partnership with HR global centers of excellence, HR operations team and the HR Business and Regional Partners to ensure full utilization of the centrally generated HR services.Establish, manage, and be accountable for the annual team budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with organizational strategic objectives.What You Will Bring to Graco

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.10+ years of experience in talent management, recruiting, or HR leadership roles.Excellent leadership skills; 5+ years of team leadership experience preferred.Demonstrated history of achieving success in talent acquisition and talent management.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and operate as a hands-on leader.Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data-driven decision-making.Ability to work effectively in a global and culturally diverse environment.An extremely high level of energy, sense of urgency and decisiveness, along with sound problem-solving and influencing skills.Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
