Responsibilities:
Provide the customer with a single-point contactTransformation of the project plan into measurable milestonesAssist management in developing new procedures and processes for the PM departmentProject kick-off, plan review, and follow upCommunication of pertinent information to project team and customerFacilitate mechanical/electrical design reviews with the teamWeekly monitoring of the project schedule and budget for adherence to planChair team meeting for progress/plan evaluationImplementation of recovery plans for budget/schedule non-conformanceOversee internal buy-offOversee customer buy-offCoordination of all shipping documents and shipping scheduleInform accounting of all pertinent invoicing informationOversee and schedule in-the-field installationsObtain customer sign-off/acceptance, in writingImmediately after final acceptance, issue warranty letterChair post-completion meeting(s) and document lessons learned and final contract costsRequirements:
4-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience5 years' experience in the special machine industry as it relates to automotiveDirect experience managing medium to large scale projects and managing project teamsBasic understanding of accounting and cost estimate practicesExcellent communication and follow up skills with both internal and external customersKnowledge of manufacturing and engineering methods in manufacturing design of custom machinesExcellent problem-solving skillsPMP Certification preferred
