to

join our team!This role focuses on creating a scalable and efficient data architecture that supports business analytics, reporting, and data management efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, database design, data governance, and cloud-based data solutions. They will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security across the organization.Key CapabilitiesData StrategyDevelop and implement a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with the organization's goals and supports business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Data ModelingDesign data models for operational and analytical systems, ensuring consistency and scalability.

Database ManagementOversee the design and maintenance of database systems, ensuring performance optimization and security.

Data IntegrationDefine and implement data integration strategies across systems, both on-premise and in the cloud, ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise.

CollaborationWork closely with data engineers, application architects, and business stakeholders to align data strategies with overall enterprise architecture.

Emerging TechnologiesEvaluate and recommend emerging data technologies, tools, and platforms that support the organization's data architecture.

Data GovernanceSupport and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

Minimum RequirementsTypically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work related experience

Critical SkillsExpertise in data modeling tools

Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.

Experience Communicate architectural decisions and plans effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data management programming languages.

Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Additional SkillsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

EducationBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred or relevant professional experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
