At AWS, we are searching for a Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join Worldwide Strategic Consulting Partners team. This is an ideal role for someone who has led successful end to end Telecom initiatives with Tier 1 operators, worked with both business and technology executives in telecom industry, and have an extensive experience working with global systems integrators (GSIs). This Partner Solutions Architect will engage with GSI partners around the globe and provide deep business and technical expertise to help partners and their telecom customers design, architect, and implement transformational industry solutions. The problem domains are diverse: 5G monetization, network function virtualization, digital customer journeys, OSS/BSS transformation, mobile edge computing, hyperscale data, Network APIs, AI/ML powered network operations optimization, cybersecurity and SaaS evolution. At your disposal is the breadth of AWS, including artificial intelligence, edge computing, IoT, and data analytics.
Candidates should have deep experience working in the Telecom industry building scalable, secure and compliant solutions. Candidates will have great communication skills and be very technical, with the ability to impress AWS global strategic consulting partners and customers at any level, from an executive to developer. Previous experience with AWS is desired but not required. Industry experience in Telecom is essential.
You will be as comfortable white-boarding solution architectures with a room full of engineers as are briefing an executive audience. You will author blogs, white-papers, and case-studies. You will deliver technical webinars, represent AWS at industry events and conferences and drive technical enablement for the partners.
This position can be based anywhere in the US where AWS has a presence.

Key job responsibilities
As a strategic member of the Global Partner Solution Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed global strategic partners.
Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements worldwide.
Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises with partners to create world-class telecom industry solutions built on AWS.
Work closely with Partner Development Managers to formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive Strategic collaboration Agreement (SCA) outcomes.
Validate Partner architectures, deliverables, SOW’s, and Project plans. Engage with Telecom IBU, AWS Professional Services, and other industry specialists to support partner led customer engagements.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community.
Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
Educate partners on the value proposition of AWS and showcase the art of possible.
Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as blogposts, case-studies, whitepapers and proof of concepts.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
10+ years of experience working in telecommunications industry, with in-depth knowledge of wireless, wireline, and cable networks. Understanding of telecom monetization use cases and edge networks.
7+ year of experience working with complex system integration projects
7+ years of experience working with 4G and 5G Network Operations Management, Network Function Virtualization, and Orchestration. Excellent understanding of AIOps and MLOps.
5+ years of working with Operations Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support System (BSS).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
