Business Relationship Manager - Digital

Our client, a leading nonprofit, is seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) - Digital at the AVP level. This strategic role is responsible for driving technology demand, identifying opportunities, and shaping digital solutions that align with their mission. The BRM will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to create a comprehensive digital strategy and roadmap that maximizes value through innovative digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Capability Area Needs & Strategic Roadmap :
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's digital goals, challenges, and opportunities.Build and manage a strategic roadmap for the digital capability area, focusing on optimizing technology solutions that provide the greatest value.Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure the integration of digital strategies with the overall organizational objectives.
Relationship & Solution Delivery Management :
Build strong relationships with leadership and staff to understand and prioritize digital technology needs.Serve as a key liaison between the technology department and other areas of the organization.Oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and resolving any obstacles.Manage vendor relationships, ensuring the delivery of agreed-upon services and negotiating contracts as necessary.Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in digital service delivery.
Demand Management :
Engage with technology team members to discover needs, prioritize project requests, and facilitate alignment across stakeholders.Ensure transparency around technology capacity and bandwidth, providing guidance on initiatives to prioritize based on organizational needs.
Team & Functional Leadership :
Directly lead and manage the Technical Product Manager within the digital capability area.Provide leadership to technical teams involved in project management, engineering, and operations.Work closely with other BRMs and technology leadership to continuously improve the relationship management function within the organization's technology department.
Role Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a focus on leading technical project delivery professionals, particularly in digital or MarTech.Strong skills in client service, leadership, and project management.Demonstrated business acumen and ability to work across departments at senior levels.Experience in relationship management and ability to elicit business requirements from various functions.Proven ability to influence senior leadership, peers, and vendors effectively.Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.MBA preferred but not required.
Technical CompetenciesExperience implementing a digital strategy with meaningful experience in at least 4 of the following areas:
Email Marketing (strong preference for Salesforce Marketing Cloud)Communication Channel Strategy/ImplementationMobile First Experience-Mobile App design, build, and/or ongoing operations (e-commerce or non-profit especially desirable)A proven track record using industry-standard Digital and MarTech systems and toolsWebsite design, build, and/or ongoing operations (e-commerce or non-profit especially desirable)Website design, build, and/or ongoing operations (e-commerce or non-profit especially desirable)Search Engine OptimizationConstituent Relationship Management (CRM; strong preference for Salesforce)Search Engine OptimizationWeb AnalyticsSocial Media ManagementContent Management SystemsVirtual Collaboration/Meetings/EventsNon-profit experience is a plusPreferred Experience:

Location : Flexible, open to candidates across the US.
The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $120-$135,000 based on our average compensation schedule. Final offers will be based on the candidate's geographic location and consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.
