Business Development Manager - Primary Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual must be able to supervise and maintain positive relationships with clients, externally, and internally.

Generate, develop and maintain new and existing client relationshipsDevelop leads for temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire employment placementsQualify leads, identify potential targetsDevelop relationships with all levels of buyers at target companiesDevelop business contacts through active participation in business oriented or community eventsVisit clients at their office locations to follow up on leadsProven ability to handle objections, build rapport, manage expectations to gain new business or retain repeat business and referralsAssist other members of the internal staff team when neededWilling to spend the greater part of the business day traveling locally to client office locations for appointments or new client developmentRecord and document detailed notes on client interactions in a proprietary CRM systemApply strategic thinking for client follow up, relationship management, and sales closingMeet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales, gross margin and profit targetsConduct 10 client appointment visits per weekConduct 65-75 inside sales calls and/or 65-75 outside sales calls per weekBusiness Development Manager - Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

BA is preferred but not requiredH.S. Diploma or GED is required1 to 5 years of recent experience in outside salesMust exhibit zero fear of making inside and outside sales phone calls and have the ability to walk into any setting to represent the brand.Must exhibit moderate to high energy to make several inside and outside callsExperience selling to all levels of staff at corporate clientsEffectiveness with Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe AcrobatMust be an organized planner who follows through on all details. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively respond to questions or complaints in a timely mannerAbility to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgement and discretion according to the company policies and to ensure profitabilityAbility to work well under pressure

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 Per Year
