What you will doAs a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sourcing strategy for various categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely supply of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure optimal performance, including supplier onboarding and relationship management.

Negotiation:

Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure sourcing strategies meet their needs.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.

Cost Savings:

Drive cost-saving initiatives and track savings achieved through effective sourcing and procurement practices.

Compliance:

Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously seek opportunities to improve sourcing processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Team management : Manage a team of junior sourcing professionals for the day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development

What you should bring

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Proven track record of managing complex sourcing projects and achieving cost savings.

Knowledge of variety of Indirect categories (MRO, Marketing, IT, Capex, HR etc) would be advantageous (trends, suppliers, industry specifics and terminology, legal frameworks)

Skills:

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).

Solid understanding of market analysis and supplier evaluation techniques.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Any business process improvement methodology such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc

Certifications:

Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or similar are a plus.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, procurement best practices, and industry trends.

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
