POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the development of marketing and communications policies and objectives for Credit Union West. Oversees all promotions and advertising efforts for membership and product growth and brand awareness. Develop overall marketing plan, approving campaigns, and measuring return on investment of various advertising methods. Reviews and maintains a strong knowledge of changes in the marketplace and recommends appropriate strategies for marketing and product and pricing to executive management. Oversee public relations and communications with the media and all graphics and content displayed and distributed through social media and all marketing channels. Support and monitor the annual department budget and growth goals in support of organizational key performance indicators.

- Ensures successful achievement of corporate goals, established performance expectations for respective areas of oversight, and frequent marketing promotions. Supports leadership that drives excellence in results from marketing initiatives and business development efforts. Ensure compliance within credit union policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Provides project management leadership to ensure completion of regular promotional projects. Builds interdepartmental partnerships to successfully executive corporate initiatives or projects. Manages annual marketing calendar and campaigns.

- Supports vision, leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of organizational goals, priorities, projects, and technology. Deliver on short-term and long-term marketing strategies that support membership and loan growth, brand awareness and responsibility to serve the community. Ensure plans and campaigns align with the credit union's mission and purpose, owning the development of creative consumer messaging and value proposition.

- Hires, trains, directs and evaluates employee performance and behaviors to serve the member experience. Allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department. Provides leadership, coaching, and direction for their team members ensuring they have the support and development opportunities to become well-trained employees excelling in their roles.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field obtained through a formal 4-year program at an accredited educational facility preferred or equivalent experience. Certified in one or more of the following is preferred: strategic marketing, digital marketing, or communications.
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in leadership or management. Digital marketing, project management, and financial services experience preferred.
