As Supervisor, QA - Operations Inspection 2nd Shift, supporting our QA, In-Process and Release Control Team, you will be trusted to define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product at Fort Worth, Texas US.
In this role, a typical day will include:Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality productsAuditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goodsSupervises a team of QA Analysts and QA Technicians.Oversees manufacturing quality operations during the shift.Assesses, evaluates and reviews results of analytical manufacturing tests and/or reviews manufacturing and release documents to determine if product/material specifications are met.Ensures that established sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.Identifies and reviews deviations from established standards in the manufacturing and/or packaging of products.Ensures that customer and regulatory requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance.Determines the disposition of materials, semi-finished and finished products.Acts as control checkpoint for final and/or in-process release authorization.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English2 Years of Relevant Experience1 Years of Demonstrated LeadershipWork hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm - 11:00 pmTravel Requirements: 0 to 10%Relocation assistance: NoSponsorship available: No
