We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead international customer engagement through market research projects and 360-degree marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a bar-raising strategic lens for brand marketing, integrated marketing communication, influencer and social media activations, public relations, strong creative direction skills, and experience working with research, creative and media agencies. This is a high-visibility position with scope for creativity and self-development. The ideal candidate will use a customer backwards approach in proactively identifying key insights into customer perceptions, preferences and behaviors, and implementing actions to build and improve brand awareness, brand affinity, engagement, conversion and loyalty. You will work autonomously yet collaboratively, handle multiple large-scale initiatives, and deliver results that raise the bar. You will make recommendations, construct debates, and inform leadership decisions. You should be strong at and attracted to the creative and experimental side of marketing as well as to the analytical and technical side, consistently using one to inform the other. You will possess a blended balance of strategist, brand builder, market researcher, program manager and analyst. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive 360-degree marketing strategies, including defining campaign goals, creating marketing briefs, building investment framework, activating cross-channel campaigns, and measuring results.
• Leverage market research initiatives and insights to fuel marketing and product strategies and implementation.
• Lead experimentation of influencer and social media campaigns.
• Define public relations priorities, and partner with internal PR stakeholders to address proactive and reactive PR needs.
• Dive deep into marketing performance and customer insights to uncover meaningful insights that improve performance over time.
• Act as the main point of contact with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Business Ops, Finance, Product, UX, and Ops, and external agencies to align and implement market research, brand marketing and PR strategies, and traffic channel activations.
• Define measurement, customer segmentation, media mix, marketing content strategies, and experimentation roadmap.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional non-internship experience in marketing, advertising, market research, or related field
Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Knowledge of brand development and brand management principles
Excellence in written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through influencers and social media
Experience developing effective marketing briefs that guide cross-functional workstreams (creative, PR, social media, creators, etc.)
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Experience working with Product Management, Engineering and Analytics stakeholders to define opportunities, scope requirements, and implement CX enhancements
Experience in global marketing, ideally managing geographically diverse customer segments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
