Position Overview:
The DirectorFinancial Planning and Analysis- Alside will be responsible for driving financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and strategic analysis. This individual will work closely with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and corporate finance to provide insightful analysis, improve financial processes and ensure alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.
Responsibilities:Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Alside, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.Analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement and partner with the business to drive improvements.Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Lead efforts to improve financial forecasting accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and enhance financial visibility across the division.Drive the development of key performance indicators and track and monitor performance.Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (MBA preferred).8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a large organization.Experience working closely with senior executives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with tools such as Hyperion, Oracle or PowerBI is a plus.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate an FP&A team.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
