WSP is currently initiating a search for a Federal Programs Project Manager, NAVFAC Southeast focused on Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) design related projects to work out of our Jacksonville, FL or Orlando, FL office. The selected individual will be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact
Lead design projects, project charrettes, stakeholder interviews, existing conditions analysis, as well as presentations for Clients and other meetings as required.
Managing the design process and providing high value technical expertise for relevant projects as assigned by the Federal Programs leadership.
Coordination with internal and external team members and technical disciplines (Clients, Site Managers, Mechanical/ Electrical/ Structural/ Civil Engineers and Planning staff) for all facets related to assigned projects.
Preparation and leadership of design charrettes, Value Engineering sessions, Quality Control reviews and project review workshops.
Lead the development of construction documents for a wide range of NAVFAC and Federal projects.
Conduct on-site observations and compliance checks, as well as facility condition assessments.
Review documents in various phases for design intent, material use and coordination. Perform quality checks and back-checks for design work and manage client comments for multiple disciplines.
Develop project fee proposals and lead client negotiations for assigned tasks.
Establish and manage working budgets on awarded tasks. Provide high quality deliverables to the client on time and within established budget.
Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
Market WSP services to assigned clients, including proactive interaction with client leadership at various levels, presentation of WSP qualifications and client visits as necessary to maintain and win work.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
BS in Engineering or Architecture.
Experience with Architect, Engineering (AE) project delivery for NAVFAC.
10+ years of experience with NAVFAC or USACE AE delivery.
Active RA or PE registration.
In-depth understanding of UFC’s, UFGS and other federal/national codes.
Advanced proficiency in relevant current software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Due to client/project requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Relocation assistance is available.
Preferred Qualifications
Active US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance.
PMP Certification.
